The ArtHeart Board has approved the strategic plan and is in the process of setting up committees and actually doing the items within the plan- so it's underway. You were absolutely amazing in guiding us through the process.

WoodGreen Community Services needed a facilitated session to help them envision new premises. The objective was to craft a vision with the input and perspectives from staff, Board and fundraisers. WoodGreen worked with MAS, to articulate clear objectives and design the day. MAS then facilitated and documented the session. Neighbourhood Centre had some new Board members and was looking for some Board development assistance to get the Board working at full speed. The MAS Consultant met with the Board Chair to discuss the objectives and options. MAS then provided the Board with the MAS Governance Workshop. The session was a success with the participants and resulted in a clear focus and work plan. MAS was very helpful to Neighbourhood House during a key transition period.

The Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) requested the assistance of MAS in developing and implementing an employee performance management program. The MAS Consultant met with OCASI’s management team and developed a comprehensive performance management program and implementation strategy tailored to OCASI’s needs. It was a pleasure working with MAS. Our time together was productive and helped build our management capacity. The Consultant’s commitment, hard work and patience made the project a success.

MAS offered tremendous leadership for this group of community and agency members. Flemingdon Park is a community of considerable diversity. MAS designed a process that everyone was able to participate with and every voice found expression. I have been to many workshops that end up being about what the expert brings to the table rather than listening to the participants. The MAS Consultant offered an event that encouraged everyone in the room to take responsibility for the work required. The result was a clear and defined collaborative approach.

The MAS consultant designed, facilitated and documented a strategic planning process with the Board and developed an operating plan with the staff. She was a leader throughout the process guiding the board and staff through the steps. Her facilitation skills were remarkable and allowed participants to be heard while the process moved forward.

I was very satisfied with the results. MAS expertly facilitated our session assisting us to move quickly and efficiently through finalizing the content of our Employee Handbook.
